About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team to support patient health. You will operate under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role involves managing patient care programs and maintaining high standards of service.
What you'll do#
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.

- Manage inventory and workflow processes to keep the pharmacy running effectively.
- Help customers and patients maintain their health through the management of patient care programs.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment remains safe and effective for all.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and the required timeframe.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and reaching.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
