About the role#
This is a full-time internship for the Fall 2026 term. You will work on-site in San Jose, California, for a duration of 6 months. The position is paid at a rate of $35 to $45 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Study the microarchitecture of the SOC TOP design to determine verification requirements.
- Update test benches for SOC TOP level testing.
- Develop and modify test cases to verify SOC functionality.
- Identify bugs, debug issues, and report findings to the design team.
- Conduct testing to ensure functional and toggle coverage criteria are met.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Practical experience in digital IC design and verification.
- Proficiency in System Verilog, UVM, and C/Assembly coding.
- Scripting skills in Python or Perl.
- Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with Perforce and Confluence is helpful, as is knowledge of UCIe, CPU architecture, NAND protocols, and AI productivity tools.
