About the role#
We are looking for an intern to join our team and contribute to Error Correction Coding (ECC) IPs. This work is a core component of our enterprise SSD development.
What you'll do#
- Write RTL logic using Verilog syntax.
- Run simulations using Synopsys VCS.
- Debug simulation environments, including addressing compilation failures, simulation hangs, and functional failures.
- Manage design databases within GIT.
- Operate FPGA systems and collect performance data.
- Coordinate with designers and verification engineers to reach technical solutions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or completed a BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Verilog and SystemVerilog programming.
- Practical lab experience with Windows software, hardware, and FPGA systems.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Strong work ethic and clear communication skills.
- Familiarity with ASIC or FPGA workflows is preferred.
- Scripting skills in Python, Perl, or Tcl are a plus, as is experience with LDPC or Algebra codes like BCH or RS.
