About the role#
We are seeking a motivated intern to join our team as a Test Automation Software Engineer. In this role, you will focus on the design and development of intelligent automation systems, specifically targeting test execution and scheduling. You will work at the intersection of AI and test automation, building scalable frameworks and leveraging modern tools to improve efficiency across our engineering organization.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows to automate test execution and scheduling processes.
- Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) to integrate AI agents with testing tools and systems.
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and test environment setup.
- Maintain and upkeep lab equipment, including enterprise servers and computer PCs.
- Execute test automation, monitor and triage failures, and report results to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, bash/shell scripting, and PowerShell programming with experience building automation scripts.
- Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, including command-line tools, system administration, OS installation, and network setup.
- Experience using AI coding assistants (such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot) in daily engineering tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and resolve technical issues.

- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Duration: 6 months.
- Compensation: $35/hr - $45/hr.
- This is a paid internship.
