About the role#
Ameresco is hiring an Engineering Intern for our Federal Engineering team in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role provides support for project development, design, and construction activities. You will work directly with our engineering staff on tasks involving data collection, reporting, and analysis.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineers on project development, design, and construction activities.
- Aggregate and organize project data, including specifications, meeting minutes, and review comments.
- Perform front-end data processing by distilling information from operational logs and utility bills.
- Analyze utility bill data, sub-meter data, and building automation system trends.
- Assist in assessing project requirements to identify energy efficiency opportunities.
- Maintain business relationships with project stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for an Engineering discipline, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, Biomedical, or Environmental Engineering.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel.
- Ability to review confidential US security information.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and business relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
