    About the role#

    WithersRavenel is looking for a Residential Land Development Engineering Intern to join the team for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid internship based in our Charlotte office. You will gain experience by working on real-world projects and observing how engineering designs move from initial concepts to final completion.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with data review and research relevant codes and standards.
    • Help develop layouts, design concepts, and detailed drawings.
    • Use industry software to generate drawings, reports, and other project deliverables.
    • Support the team by keeping projects organized.
    • Observe the design process from concept to completion.

    What you'll need#

    • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
    • You want to apply your classroom learning to actual projects.
    • You are detail-oriented, organized, and ready to collaborate with others.
    • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Microsoft Office is a plus.

    • Location: Charlotte, North Carolina.
    • Term: Summer 2027 (mid-May through early August).
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: Paid internship with a housing stipend provided.
    • Note: This role may require infrequent evening or weekend work, outdoor job site visits, and the ability to carry equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
