About the role#
We are looking for a Site Civil Engineering Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time position based in our Cary office. You will work on real projects and see how designs move from initial concepts to final completion.
What you'll do#
- Assist with data review and research relevant codes and standards.
- Help develop site layouts, design concepts, and detailed drawings.
- Use industry software to generate drawings, reports, and other project deliverables.
- Support the team by keeping project documentation organized.
- Participate in occasional job site visits.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- A strong interest in applying classroom knowledge to practical engineering projects.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Microsoft Office.

- Location: Cary, North Carolina.
- Term: Summer 2027, mid-May through early August.
- Modality: On-site.
- This position is paid and includes a housing stipend. Please note that this role may occasionally require evening or weekend work and the ability to carry equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
