About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Mehoopany, Pennsylvania. You will work on-site at a client location to support the design, analysis, and rehabilitation of structural systems for industrial facilities. This role provides hands-on experience with industry tools and engineering practices.
What you'll do#
- Apply structural design and engineering fundamentals to real projects.
- Perform tasks under the direct supervision of a lead engineer.
- Create detailed structural drawings using 2D and 3D CAD software.
- Help validate software and drawing databases.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's Degree program for Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited institution.
- Coursework or practical experience with 2D or 3D CAD software.
- Coursework or experience related to the theory and design of steel or concrete structures.
