About the role#
The Sales Operations Intern supports the Commercial Markets team to improve consistency, visibility, and speed. You will assist with sales data, reporting, process documentation, and account segmentation. This role provides an opportunity to learn how leadership manages pipeline, forecasting, and performance.
What you'll do#
- Review and improve CRM records, including account ownership, contact details, opportunity stages, close dates, next steps, and notes.
- Help prepare recurring reports on pipeline, forecast, activity, and performance for sales meetings.
- Support territory planning, account segmentation, target-list development, and campaign preparation.
- Analyze data to spot gaps, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Summarize findings and prepare materials for sales and leadership reviews.
- Create practical sales tools, templates, process guides, and shared trackers.
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners.
- Explore ways to streamline work using formulas, automation, and approved AI tools.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in business, sales, finance, analytics, information systems, operations, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
- Comfort working with structured data.
- Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Ability to organize priorities and communicate clearly.
- Ability to ask thoughtful questions and protect confidential information.

- Schedule: Full-time, rolling term.
- Compensation: Paid internship.
- Physical requirements: You may need to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and use hands to operate a computer. You may need to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. unassisted. This position may require up to 10% travel.
