About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional newsroom environment. You will contribute to storytelling across broadcast and digital platforms while learning how modern news operations function in real time.
What you'll do#
- Assist in researching, writing, and producing news stories for broadcast and digital platforms.
- Work alongside reporters, anchors, producers, and photographers in the newsroom and in the field.
- Bring fresh story ideas to the table and help shape news coverage.
- Learn how to shoot video and create compelling visuals.
- Gain exposure to control room operations and the production of live broadcasts.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or a recent graduate.
- Must be at least a sophomore at an accredited college or university.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation.
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, or Media Studies.
