About the role#
This is a paid internship opportunity for the Fall 2026 term. The role is based on-site in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and requires approximately 15 hours of work per week for a 10-week period. Interns will gain exposure to the operations of a newsroom and contribute to multi-platform journalism.
What you'll do#
- Assist in researching, writing, and producing news stories for broadcast and digital platforms.
- Work alongside reporters, anchors, producers, and photographers in the newsroom and the field.
- Pitch fresh story ideas and help shape coverage.
- Learn to shoot video and frame visual content.
- Gain exposure to control room operations and the production of live broadcasts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, or recent graduation.
- Minimum status of a sophomore at an accredited college or university.
- Majors in Journalism, Communications, or Media Studies.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Ability to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation.
- Availability to start between August 24 and September 14, 2026.
