About the role#
USA Lacrosse is seeking an intern to join the eCommerce and Retail department. You will work alongside the Senior Manager of eCommerce and Retail to support daily operations, reporting, content updates, and event preparation. This role offers hands-on experience in digital commerce, merchandising, and inventory management while contributing to brand consistency and revenue growth.
What you'll do#
- Manage daily operations for the online store, including product uploads, writing descriptions, and updating pricing.
- Organize merchandising collections and perform website maintenance.
- Conduct QA testing and assist with inventory management.
- Track invoices and payments.
- Compile data for reports and analyze retail sales performance regarding promotions and discounts.
- Research industry trends and competitor best practices in sports apparel and fan merchandise.
- Support onsite retail sales during events at the headquarters office.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program, preferably in business, marketing, or communications.
- Ability to work 15 to 30 hours per week.
- Intermediate computer skills, specifically with Microsoft 365 products, and comfort using spreadsheets for data analysis.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
- Understanding of social media platforms and audience engagement.
- A customer-first mindset and a willingness to handle diverse tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Alignment with the mission and values of USA Lacrosse.
- Eligibility to earn college credit is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a paid internship at $15 per hour.
- The role is based in Sparks, Maryland.
- This is a hybrid position, requiring three days per week at the headquarters office and allowing two days of remote work.
- You must be available for occasional nights and weekends based on event needs.
