    About the role#

    WHAM is offering an internship for students interested in pursuing a career in news. This position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to various tasks within a newsroom environment. This is a paid, full-time internship for the Fall 2026 term.

    What you'll do#

    • Gain hands-on experience in the news industry.
    • Immerse yourself in a newsroom environment.
    • Contribute to various newsroom tasks.

    What you'll need#

    • Must be at least 18 years old.
    • Currently enrolled as a college student.
    • Must be eligible to receive college credit.
    • Journalism, Communications, or a related degree preferred.
    • A strong interest in pursuing a career in news.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Rochester, New York.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $17.00 per hour.
