About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment designed to supplement your academic studies and prepare you for a career as a community pharmacist. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Brampton, Ontario.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage retail pharmacy operations.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and follow all privacy requirements, including consent management.
- Engage in community pharmacy practice.
- Participate in training focused on disease state management and over-the-counter product knowledge.
- Practice patient counseling and drug therapy skills.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
