About the role#
This position offers practical experience for students in a community pharmacy setting. You will work under a local Associate-Owner to learn about the expanding roles of pharmacists while gaining real-world training that complements your academic studies. This is a paid, full-time role.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy and confidentiality requirements are met, including consent management.
- Maintain high visibility and be clearly identifiable to the public.
- Provide patient counseling and guidance on health matters.
- Develop your communication skills by interacting with patients, staff, and other healthcare workers.
- Build your knowledge of over-the-counter products, disease state management, and drug therapy.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, or Public Health programs.
- A focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- A solid understanding of confidentiality and privacy standards.
- An interest in retail pharmacy management.

- Pay: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour, based on experience and knowledge.
