About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will join the electrical team to work on computing, sensing, communication, and power systems. The program lasts 10 to 12 weeks and offers hands-on mentorship alongside project work.
What you'll do#
- Manage requirements gathering, design, and validation for avionics assemblies and test fixtures.
- Build test stands using relays, PLCs, PCBAs, and harnessing.
- Use Python to automate test sequences, run simulations, and perform data analysis.
- Participate in cross-functional design reviews and suggest changes to improve manufacturing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate, graduate, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
- A solid grasp of fundamental engineering concepts including EE, mechanical engineering, programming, physics, and mathematics.
- Experience with multidisciplinary hardware development projects, whether from clubs, personal work, or previous jobs.
- A history of taking ownership of projects and delivering results.

- This is an on-site position.
- Locations include Dallas, Texas; Seattle, Washington; San Diego, California; and Boston, Massachusetts.
- Start dates are June 2nd or June 23rd.
