About the role#
This internship offers exposure to the disciplines required to deliver aerospace systems. You will work on projects alongside a mentor, helping solve problems during the development of new products. The program lasts 10 to 12 weeks and includes hands-on mentorship and the opportunity to contribute to engineering initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Support program planning and scheduling by tracking milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
- Assist production planning and logistics engineers with material coordination, inventory tracking, and supply chain optimization.
- Partner with prototype build teams to coordinate build readiness, track work orders, and update configuration documentation.
- Collaborate with quality engineers to collect production data, perform defect analysis, and support corrective actions.
- Participate in advanced manufacturing and process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Prepare reports and metrics to communicate progress to engineering and leadership teams.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Interest in aerospace, prototyping, or advanced manufacturing technologies is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Dallas, Texas, or Seattle, Washington.
- You must be available to start on either June 1st or June 22nd.
