About the role#
As a Market Strategy Data Science Intern, you will help inform real estate and market growth strategies using demographic, competitive, and geographic trends. This role supports the Market Strategy team by applying data science, artificial intelligence, and geospatial analysis to identify growth opportunities and improve real estate decisions.
What you'll do#
- Analyze demographic, competitive, and geographic data to support market prioritization.
- Use SQL, machine learning, and geospatial methods to identify patterns and generate insights.
- Build a market prioritization model using Power BI.
- Explore agentic AI and optimization solutions to improve market and site opportunity decisions.
- Translate analytical results into recommendations for market strategy and real estate leaders.
- Collaborate with data science, real estate, and strategy teams.
- Document your methods and findings, culminating in a final presentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA or graduate degree program in data science, analytics, business, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, machine learning, geospatial analysis, or optimization.
- Coursework or project experience in artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, or real estate strategy.
- Ability to work with structured data and explain findings to non-technical partners.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a deadline-driven environment.
- Interest in applying advanced analytics to growth, site selection, and portfolio decisions.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Bentonville, Arkansas.
- The internship operates on a rolling basis.
