About the role#
As a Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern, you will work in a community pharmacy setting to gain hands-on experience in patient care. This is a paid, part-time position where you will support the pharmacy team in daily operations and service delivery.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Deliver patient care by assessing needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
- Maintain the confidentiality of documentation and records per company, state, and federal guidelines.
- Receive and stock pharmacy supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Manage inventory and keep the pharmacy area organized.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited pharmacy school.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and best practices.
- Ability to build relationships with customers and pharmacy staff.
- Capability to address individual patient needs.
- Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Enthusiasm for community outreach and events.
