About the role#
As a Pharmacy Grad Intern, you will work in a community pharmacy setting to support clinical care and pharmacy operations. This role focuses on patient health and well-being while ensuring compliance with legal and company policies. You will gain hands-on experience by working directly with our pharmacy team and customers.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Deliver patient care by assessing individual needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
- Maintain confidentiality of all records and documentation according to HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Receive and stock pharmacy merchandise and supplies from suppliers and distribution centers.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and keep the workspace organized.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in your final year at an accredited Pharmacy school.
- A bachelor's degree in Science is preferred.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
- Ability to build relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- Enthusiasm for community outreach and participating in local events.
- A Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification is preferred.
