About the role#
As an Automation Engineer Intern, you will join our Supply Chain Automation team for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time, on-site internship offers the chance to work within one of four segments: Ambient, Grocery, Fulfillment, or Transportation. You will contribute to large-scale projects designed to improve efficiency, capacity, and technology across our supply chain network.
What you'll do#
- Design, implement, and improve engineered solutions.
- Use an analytical mindset to transform existing processes.
- Perform industry research to identify new technology and potential partners.
- Identify short-term and long-term opportunities within the end-to-end supply chain.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and propose solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships and technology portfolios throughout the product lifecycle, from research and development to deployment and maintenance.
- Contribute to team strategy by developing business cases and writing white papers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.
- An expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Academic background in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or other relevant engineering disciplines.
