About the role#
This is a part-time, paid internship for students pursuing a career in pharmacy. You will work on-site at the Erwin, North Carolina location. This role follows a rolling term structure.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders while entering accurate information.
- Assist customers with purchasing decisions, resolve their concerns, and operate cash registers.
- Maintain the pharmacy area by stocking supplies, organizing merchandise, and ensuring cleanliness.
- Handle claims, returns, and inventory rotation to remove damaged or out-of-date goods.
- Complete and secure all required paperwork and documentation.
- Follow company policies and federal or state laws to ensure the confidentiality of records.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited pharmacy school.
- A Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification is preferred.
