The Video Intelligence team works on generative AI for video creation and content understanding. As a Research Intern, you will join an applied AI research group to develop models that push the boundaries of video generation. You will work with experts in computer vision and machine learning to build systems that influence both academic research and future applications.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research on topics like text-to-video, image-to-video, and unified native video generative models.
- Design, implement, and evaluate new algorithms and model architectures.
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers across the Video Intelligence and GenAI teams.
- Contribute to publications in top AI and computer vision conferences.
- Present findings to help guide ongoing research and future project directions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Focus on generative modeling, computer vision, or machine learning.
- Programming experience in Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
- Experience with generative models such as diffusion models, LLMs, or autoregressive transformers.
- Intent to return to your degree program after the internship.
- Research experience in video generation, temporal modeling, or multimodal learning.
- A record of research achievements through publications at conferences like CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, or SIGGRAPH.
