About the role#
We are looking for a Technical & Hardware Support Analyst Co-op to manage IT assets and provide technical support. You will report to the Team Lead of Application & Technical Support. Your work ensures that hardware is properly tracked, maintained, and disposed of throughout its lifecycle. This role requires you to interact with end-users, management, and vendors while maintaining professional relationships.
What you'll do#
- Track and manage IT assets using corporate tools, including monitoring warranties, licenses, and service-level agreements.
- Deliver and retrieve IT equipment for staff.
- Maintain inventory data, including the location and condition of physical assets.
- Resolve helpdesk tickets, incidents, and implement user MACD requests.
- Install and uninstall servers, PCs, network equipment, and phones.
- Lift and move hardware weighing up to 50 lbs, including working in server rooms, under desks, and other confined spaces.
- Promote cybersecurity policies and support the execution of the corporate Disaster Recovery plan.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary co-op program with availability for an 8-month consecutive work term.
- 1-3 years of experience in technical support, specifically with Windows 10, Windows 11, and Active Directory.
- 1-3 years of experience in hardware support and inventory management.
- A University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Experience in Microsoft server and Cisco switch and firewall environments is preferred.
- ITIL certification is considered an asset.

- This is a full-time, on-site position located in downtown Toronto.
- The work term runs from January 2027 to August 2027.
