About the role#
As an IT Network Administrator Intern, you will support the maintenance and administration of our network infrastructure. You will work alongside senior team members to learn network protocols, architecture concepts, and troubleshooting methodologies while assisting with project tasks and documentation.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, spreadsheets, and inventory records within NetBox.
- Audit network infrastructure by validating equipment configurations and physical records against existing environments.
- Research new technologies and contribute to analysis, cost breakdowns, and recommendations.
- Support small projects by tracking deliverables and updating project records.
- Learn foundational networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and unified communication services.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- A valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and a personal vehicle for transportation.
Location & details#
- Location: Plymouth, Wisconsin.
- Modality: Hybrid (onsite Monday through Thursday, with optional remote Fridays).
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
