About the role#
The Chaplain Intern role is a learning experience focused on building confidence and competence in clinical skills. You will work under the direction of a licensed provider or registered nurse to support patients and gain practical knowledge in your field of study. This position requires you to function within the scope of state regulations while embodying the values of Sanford Health.
What you'll do#
- Communicate with and support patients in a clinical setting.
- Perform administrative and specific clinical duties as directed.
- Complete delegated projects to develop skills relevant to your assigned location.
- Attend training and development sessions to learn about organizational processes.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
- Some departments may require a clinical certification prior to your start date.

- Location: Fargo, North Dakota.
- Schedule: 30 hours per week with varied 8-hour shifts.
- Status: This is a paid internship.
