About the role#
Sandstone Care offers a clinical internship for students pursuing a master's degree in counseling or social work. This role supports our outpatient treatment program for teenagers and young adults dealing with mental health and substance use disorders. You will work directly with clients and families while receiving weekly individual supervision and participating in team meetings.
What you'll do#
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Contribute to client treatment goals and manage clinical documentation.
- Participate in weekly clinical team meetings.
- Coordinate care between clients, their families, and other providers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master's program for counseling or social work.
- Ability to commit 15-20 hours per week.
- Availability to work at least one evening per week.
- A commitment to ethical practice and professional supervision.
