About the role#
Sandstone Care is looking for a Clinical Intern to join our team at our adolescent residential treatment center in Boulder. This role offers hands-on experience in behavioral health, focusing on substance use, mental health, and mood disorders. You will receive one hour of individual supervision each week and participate in weekly clinical team meetings to collaborate with experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Support clients throughout their recovery journey.
- Contribute to the development and achievement of treatment goals.
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Manage clinical documentation, paperwork, and billing tasks.
- Coordinate care between clients, their families, and other providers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master’s program for counseling or social work.
- Ability to commit 15-20 hours per week.
- Availability to work at least one evening per week.
- A desire to contribute to a client-centered treatment environment.
- CPR certification is preferred, or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of starting.
