About the role#
Sandstone Care is seeking a Clinical Intern to join our outpatient team in Colorado Springs. This role supports adolescents and young adults navigating substance use, mental health, and mood disorders. You will work directly with clients and their families to support their recovery goals while gaining hands-on experience in a supervised clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Assist clients in working toward their specific treatment goals.
- Coordinate care between clients, families, and other involved providers.
- Attend weekly Clinical Team Meetings to collaborate with staff.
- Manage clinical documentation and billing tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master’s degree program for counseling or social work.
- Ability to commit 15 to 20 hours per week.
- Availability to work at least one evening per week.
- A strong focus on high-quality clinical documentation and paperwork.
