About the role#
Sandstone Care is seeking a Clinical Intern to join our outpatient treatment center in Colorado Springs. This role supports adolescents and young adults working through substance use, mental health, and mood disorders. You will work under direct supervision to gain hands-on experience in a therapeutic setting.
What you'll do#
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Support clients as they work toward their recovery and treatment goals.
- Coordinate care between clients, their families, and other providers.
- Attend weekly Clinical Team Meetings to collaborate with staff.
- Complete clinical documentation and billing tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a master’s program for counseling or social work.
- Ability to commit 15 to 20 hours per week.
- Availability to work at least one evening per week.
- A commitment to maintaining high-quality clinical documentation and paperwork.
