About the role#
Sandstone Care is seeking a Clinical Intern for Summer 2027 to join our outpatient treatment center in Denver. This role supports adolescents and young adults navigating substance use, mental health, and mood disorders. You will work directly with clients and their families to support treatment goals.
What you'll do#
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Manage clinical documentation, paperwork, and billing tasks.
- Coordinate care between clients, families, and other providers.
- Participate in weekly Clinical Team Meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master’s program for counseling or social work.
- Availability for 15-20 hours per week, including at least one evening shift.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to high-quality clinical documentation and ethical practice.
- Professionalism and self-awareness in a supervised environment.
