About the role#
Sandstone Care is seeking a Clinical Intern to support our outpatient treatment program for adolescents and young adults. This is an unpaid internship for students currently enrolled in a master’s program for counseling or social work. You will gain experience in a clinical setting while working under the direct supervision of experienced clinicians.
What you'll do#
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Contribute to the development and achievement of client treatment goals.
- Coordinate care between clients, their families, and other healthcare providers.
- Manage clinical documentation, paperwork, and billing tasks.
- Participate in weekly clinical team meetings and receive one hour of individual supervision per week.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master’s program for counseling or social work.
- Availability to work 15-20 hours per week, including at least one evening shift.
- A professional attitude with a focus on ethical practice.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail regarding clinical documentation.
- A commitment to working within a supportive, client-centered environment.
