About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist in a community pharmacy setting. You will assist with clinical and prescription tasks while ensuring full compliance with all regulatory and corporate requirements. This is a part-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Gather clinical and prescription plan information for new patients.
- Review new prescriptions for accuracy.
- Maintain compliance with division and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support patient care.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program.
- Basic knowledge of pharmacology, medication management, and pharmacy law.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including pharmacy software, electronic health records (EHR), Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage projects, solve problems, and handle multiple tasks.
- Previous pharmacy experience is a plus.
- Commitment to professional standards and patient care.

- Location: Knoxville, Tennessee.
- Work Modality: On-site.
