About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Co-Op, you will focus on signal integrity testing for high speed twinaxial cable assemblies. This role involves hands-on work with test systems and project management. You will work with global facilities to ensure accurate testing and reporting.
What you'll do#
- Run High Speed Electrical Test (HSET) equipment and report findings.
- Configure HSET systems for Samtec products.
- Design multilayer circuit boards for HSET applications.
- Analyze test data to find root causes of product failures.
- Manage your projects using internal project management systems.
What you'll need#
- One year of experience performing electrical diagnosis on systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with high level programming languages like Python, C, C++, Rust, or Java.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds from floor to waist.
- Ability to sit or stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
