About the role#
The Ryder Audit Services department provides internal audit and advisory support to business leaders across the company. As an intern, you will assist with projects in Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Information Technology. You may work on SOX compliance, process audits, vendor audits, or IT general control audits. This is a part-time, remote role designed to be flexible around your class schedule.
What you'll do#
- Learn the fundamentals of auditing and business operations through training and project participation.
- Perform audit procedures, including identifying issues, reviewing evidence, and documenting processes.
- Prepare working papers, conduct interviews, and compose summary memos.
- Identify and document recommendations using independent judgment.
- Communicate project results to management through written reports and oral presentations.
What you'll need#
- Current status as at least an incoming Junior pursuing a BA or BS in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Information Systems.
- Completed coursework in accounting, data analytics, economics, or computer programming.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Demonstrated success in completing team projects.

- This position is remote and based in the United States.
- This is a part-time internship requiring 20 hours per week.
- The pay rate is $23.00 per hour.
