About the role#
The Summer 2027 internship program provides students the opportunity to apply academic knowledge to active projects within the transportation, logistics, and supply chain industry. Interns will develop a corporate business perspective by learning how individual departments contribute to the overall organization. Participants will gain experience in problem-solving and public speaking by attending business meetings and engaging in project work.
What you'll do#
- Perform duties and responsibilities based on the specific department or area of assignment.
- Interact and present information to various levels of management and customers.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with peers, work groups, and supervisors.
- Learn new systems and processes while establishing rapport with customers.
- Support multiple projects using analytical and organizational skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program, with a bachelor's degree required.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Communications, Human Resources, or Industrial Engineering.
- Intermediate PC skills, specifically with Windows, MS Office, MS Project, and MS Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical abilities and personal initiative.
- Experience showing leadership capabilities is preferred.
