About the role#
The Summer 2027 internship program provides students the opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world projects within the transportation, logistics, and supply chain industry. Interns will gain a corporate business perspective by learning how individual departments contribute to the overall organization. Participants will also develop problem-solving and public speaking skills through active participation in business meetings and assigned projects.
What you'll do#
- Support multiple projects while demonstrating analytical and organizational skills.
- Develop professional relationships with peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors.
- Learn new systems and processes to establish rapport with customers.
- Participate in various departmental tasks and duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a degree program (Bachelor's degree required).
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Communications, Human Resources, or Industrial Engineering.
- Intermediate proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Project.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to take personal initiative and interact effectively with all levels of management.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
