About the role#
As a Project Engineer Intern, you will assist the project team in completing designated projects. You will focus on learning construction industry processes, procedures, and company business policies.
What you'll do#
- Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
- Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination.
- Learn about scheduling, quality control, and safety.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering, management, or a closely related field and be within 18 months of graduating.
- Ability to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.
- General knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
- Skill in reading and understanding contracts, specifications, and architectural and engineering drawings.
