About the role#
As a Technology Risk Consulting Intern, you will work with middle market businesses across industries like manufacturing, real estate, financial services, and healthcare. You will gain hands-on experience by working directly with client leadership and executive management to help them manage technology risks and improve their internal control environments.
What you'll do#
- Assist clients with the design and optimization of controls for business processes, accounting, and information technology.
- Identify internal control deficiencies and evaluate the associated risk implications.
- Prepare internal control documentation for client engagements.
- Engage with client leadership to discuss strategies for emerging technology risks.
- Support SOX, regulatory, and compliance engagements related to application and IT controls.
- Participate in IT controls testing for financial statement audits and internal audits over ERP and security systems.
What you'll need#
- Completion of 90 credit hours toward a B.A. or B.S. degree.
- Major in Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Strong communication, project management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with high integrity.
- Ability to travel to client locations as required.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $29 to $35 per hour.
- Status: Full-time internship.
