About the role#
As a Financial Services Risk Consulting Intern, you will work across sectors including financial institutions, capital markets, insurance, specialty finance, and asset management. You will gain exposure to topics such as ESG, digital assets, blockchain, regulatory matters, and credit risk. Throughout the summer, you will be paired with a Performance Advisor to support your professional development. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Support client meetings and process engagements.
- Prepare and deliver reports on consulting services, including discussing results and recommendations with clients.
- Complete projects according to established timelines and critical dates.
- Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze client information and document results.
- Attend conferences, training sessions, and team meetings.
- Travel to client locations as needed to provide consulting services.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 90 credit hours toward a B.A. or B.S. degree.
- Major in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- Ability to work as an effective team member with a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
- Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client sites as required.
