About the role#
This position combines the Elevate early career program with a Summer 2028 Technology Risk and Controls Consulting internship. The Elevate program includes a three-day leadership conference in January 2027 and ongoing development throughout the year to build professional skills. Following this, you will join the firm for a summer internship focused on technology risk management and internal audit services for middle market clients across various industries.
What you'll do#
- Assist clients with the design and optimization of internal controls.
- Identify internal control deficiencies and evaluate their risk implications.
- Create internal control documentation to support client engagements.
- Perform technical IT controls reviews.
- Engage with client leadership to discuss strategies for anticipating emerging technology risks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited accounting degree program.
- Completion of at least 90 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- A minimum 3.4 GPA is preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office and strong computer skills.
- Working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree.
- Ability to travel to client locations as needed.
