About the role#
This position combines the Elevate early career program with a Summer 2028 Process Risk and Controls Consulting internship. Elevate is a leadership development program for accounting students that includes a three-day conference in early 2027 and ongoing professional development. The internship provides hands-on experience in risk assessment, including internal audits, SOX compliance, and financial reporting control projects. You will work with diverse clients and receive mentorship from an assigned Performance Advisor.
What you'll do#
- Sit in on client meetings and support consulting projects.
- Prepare reports on consulting services and discuss findings with clients.
- Travel to client locations to provide services.
- Complete projects according to established timelines.
- Analyze client information and document results using Microsoft Office tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited accounting degree program.
- Completion of 90 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Anticipated full-time associate start date of Fall 2029 or Winter 2030.
- A minimum 3.4 GPA is preferred.
- Ability to arrange reliable transportation to client sites.
- Demonstrated leadership in campus or community organizations.
