About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Winter 2028 based in Birmingham, Alabama. You will work on-site as part of our assurance team, gaining hands-on experience in the audit process and professional services.
What you'll do#
- Learn about client needs, their business models, and their accounting systems.
- Get familiar with the RSM audit approach and our internal tools.
- Evaluate client internal control structures and assess potential risks.
- Run substantive tests and internal control tests to identify and resolve reporting issues.
- Draft financial statements using prescribed formats.
What you'll need#
- You are an Accounting major working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree.
- You have completed at least 90 credit hours.
- You have access to reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
