About the role#
As an Accounting Methods and Periods Tax Intern, you will work within the CIM group to support our tax practice. This role focuses on technical expertise and client service. You will gain exposure to tax planning and research while working on projects that affect income, deductions, capitalization, cost recovery, and inventory.
What you'll do#
- Assist with tax planning and research regarding income, deductions, and inventory.
- Develop an understanding of client businesses to identify tax planning opportunities.
- Manage multiple projects including client interviews, data gathering, analysis, and tax filing preparation.
- Document facts and draft technical memoranda.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to support engagement success.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.A. or B.S. degree program in Accounting.
- Completion of at least 90 credit hours.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Ability to travel to client locations using reliable transportation.

- This internship is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
- This is an on-site, full-time position for Summer 2027.
