About the role#
Rodan Energy Solutions is looking for a Co-op student to join the team for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on building, testing, and supporting AI agents, automation workflows, and various AI-powered tools used across the business. This role offers the opportunity to translate department workflows into practical AI solutions while gaining experience with enterprise-level tools and frameworks.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain AI agents, automation workflows, and internal assistant tools.
- Translate business requirements into AI-enabled solutions for areas like forecasting, analytics, compliance, and reporting.
- Integrate AI tools with existing systems, data sources, and documentation repositories.
- Create user guides, process documentation, and training materials to support internal adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact AI use cases.
- Contribute to reusable AI frameworks, prompt patterns, and automation practices.
- Use Databricks to support data analysis, reporting, and AI-enabled business workflows.
- Participate in structured learning and onboarding sessions for Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a registered Co-op program.
- Working towards a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of AI concepts and an interest in applying them to real-world business scenarios.
- Experience or a strong interest in AI agents, automation, and Microsoft Copilot tools.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple departments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Awareness of AI governance and responsible AI best practices.
- Experience or interest in using Databricks for data analysis and automation.
Location & details#
- Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 to April 2027).
- Modality: On-site, 5 days per week.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on year of study, experience, and internal equity.
