About the role#
This internship within Lifecycle Services offers a chance to build engineering, analytical, and customer-facing skills. You will work alongside a Field Service Engineer to see how we support customers in person. This is a full-time, paid position that requires frequent travel to customer sites.
What you'll do#
- Travel to customer sites with a Field Service Engineer to observe and assist with in-person support.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site.
- Manage customer interactions by setting expectations and documenting issue details.
- Follow up with customers to share resolution steps and ensure their needs are met.
- Learn how Field Support Engineers approach troubleshooting in the Motions and Controls area.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a four-year or advanced engineering degree program.
- Ability to travel frequently to customer sites.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Current pursuit of a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role based out of a field office.
- Locations include Dallas, Texas; St Louis, Missouri; Tampa, Florida; and Davenport, Iowa.
- The internship follows a rolling term structure.
