About the role#
As a GNC Intern in Littleton, Colorado, you will support the team with developing or enhancing GNC algorithms for flight software. You will work across the engineering life cycle, from initial spacecraft concepts to final software implementation.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with your mentor and department staff to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
- Attend regular 1:1 meetings with supervisors to discuss your progress and success.
- Provide updates on your ongoing work.
- Participate in tech talks and connect with other interns and employees through professional events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate program in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Astronautical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least one semester of school remaining after the internship concludes.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience, such as internships, laboratory work, or personal and team projects.
- Ability to work full-time and on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks starting in May or June 2027.
- The following skills are preferred: a GPA of 3.5 or above, 6+ months of applied engineering experience, and knowledge of control systems, simulation tools, Python, or MATLAB.

- Pay: $27.00 per hour.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
