About the role#
As a Data & Analytics Consultant Intern, you will join our team for a 10-week summer program. You will work alongside experienced consultants on client projects, gaining hands-on exposure to our AI-native delivery methods and modern data platform practices. You will contribute to meaningful work while collaborating with your intern cohort on a group project designed to solve real business challenges.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support client projects and move work forward.
- Engage with stakeholders by asking questions, synthesizing feedback, and presenting findings.
- Identify, gather, and prepare data using structured, reproducible methods.
- Apply analytical and statistical techniques to uncover trends and patterns.
- Build data visualizations and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or spreadsheets.
- Document business requirements and translate insights into actionable plans and solution designs.
- Create process maps, workflow diagrams, and supporting documentation.
- Participate in testing activities by assisting with scenarios and validating results.
- Use AI copilots and prompting techniques to accelerate research and analysis.
- Communicate project status, risks, and insights clearly to teammates and clients.
What you'll need#
- Status as a rising senior in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably graduating in Spring 2028.
- Relevant coursework in fields such as Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Ability to write basic SQL queries and understand relational database concepts.
- Foundational knowledge of data structures, statistical concepts, and data modeling.
- Exposure to ETL/ELT concepts and version control systems like Git or GitHub.
- Introductory experience with Python or R.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, including formulas and pivot tables.
- Strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within diverse teams.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- You must live in the Indianapolis, IN area for the duration of the internship.
- This role is hybrid, with an expectation of at least 3 days per week in the office.
