About the role#
As a Data & Analytics Consultant Intern, you will join our team for a 10-week summer program. You will work alongside experienced team members on client projects, gain exposure to modern data platforms, and learn our AI-native delivery methodology. Beyond your daily tasks, you will collaborate with your intern cohort on a group project to solve a real business challenge.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support client projects and move work forward.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders by asking questions, synthesizing feedback, and presenting findings.
- Identify, gather, and prepare data using structured, reproducible methods.
- Apply analytical and statistical techniques to uncover insights, trends, and patterns.
- Build clear data visualizations or reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or spreadsheets.
- Document business and functional requirements and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Identify opportunities where AI or automation can streamline manual processes.
- Create process maps, workflow diagrams, and supporting documentation.
- Participate in testing activities and ensure solution quality.
- Use AI copilots and prompting techniques to accelerate research, documentation, and analysis.
- Use project and collaboration tools to stay organized and support team workflows.
- Communicate status, risks, and insights clearly to maintain alignment.
What you'll need#
- Rising Senior enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics, preferably graduating in Spring 2028.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve, think creatively, and deliver results.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and time-management abilities.
- Deep intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn new tools and domains.
- Experience working in deadline-driven environments.
- Understanding of relational database concepts and ability to write basic SQL queries.
- Foundational knowledge of data structures, statistical concepts, and data modeling basics.
- Exposure to ETL/ELT concepts, version control systems like Git, and project tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Introductory experience with Python or R.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets including formulas, pivot tables, and lightweight modeling.
Location & details#
- Location: Indianapolis, Indiana.
- Modality: Hybrid, with an expectation of at least 3 days in the office per week.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
- Requirement: Must reside in the Indianapolis area during the summer of 2027.
