About the role#
Resonetics is hiring an Engineering Co-op for the Winter 2027 term in Hutchinson, Minnesota. You will perform entry-level engineering tasks and complete assigned projects. You will work both independently and with a mentor to support our manufacturing operations.
What you'll do#
- Measure products using standard metrology practices.
- Compile and analyze data using statistical analysis techniques.
- Design, procure, and fabricate simple tooling and fixtures.
- Generate and modify manufacturing process documentation in accordance with the Quality Management System.
- Support the execution of process and equipment validations, including IQ, OQ, PQ, MVP, and TMV.
- Identify areas for process improvement and suggest solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS or MS program for Mechanical, Biomedical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Familiarity with formal problem-solving techniques such as Cause and Effect analysis or the 5 Whys.
- Strong writing skills for reports, procedures, and validation activities.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and negotiate alignment with stakeholders.
- Comfort providing project status updates to management and teams.
