    About the role#

    This is a 4-month student placement for Winter 2027, running from January to April. You will join the Enterprise Control Testing team to support risk management practices and control assessment programs. You will report to the Senior Manager and act as a liaison between business partners to manage stakeholder engagement.

    What you'll do#

    • Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of key controls based on internal policies.
    • Help deliver on regulatory commitments for control assessments.
    • Perform assessment activities in line with enterprise standards.
    • Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives.
    • Participate in team discussions regarding work plans and strategy.
    • Develop and maintain tools used to execute and document risk assessments.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment at a Canadian post-secondary institution in business, finance, mathematics, statistics, or engineering.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to think creatively.
    • High attention to detail and ability to grasp new information quickly.
    • Experience working on projects.
    • Self-driven approach with leadership potential.

    • Work Modality: Hybrid.
    • Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
    • Eligibility: You must be returning to school after the term ends or require this placement as a mandatory graduation requirement.
