About the role#
This is a four-month internship for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April. You will join the ECT AI and Automation team to support data science, analytics, and automation projects. The role focuses on accelerating internal processes and reducing manual work through data-driven solutions.
What you'll do#
- Provide analytics support to Enterprise Control Testing.
- Collaborate with business and technical units to identify opportunities and design solutions.
- Implement heuristic approaches, data mining methods, and statistical analysis using Python.
- Use visualization tools to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Translate data-driven insights into clear decisions and actions.
- Learn and apply new tools and technologies to daily analytics tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary institution with a focus on Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with git and version control.
- Skills in data profiling, cleaning, mining, and technical documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 to April 2027).
- Employment type: Full-time, paid.
- Modality: Options for remote, on-site, or hybrid work will be discussed with the hiring manager. Candidates must be located in Ontario for the duration of the term.
